So, it turns out Bob drew and wrote a guest comic for Game Rave. I'm as surprised as you are. Turned out cool though.

That's about all I've got this week. Funny how I'm the writer, yet Bob almost always has more to say than me. Funnier still when you consider that when we first started, it was like pulling teeth to get him to say anything. Anyway, see you next week.

posted by BobPosted by Bob on May 14, 2004: Regardless of the image Steve and I like to project of myself here, I actually CAN be a nice guy when the mood strikes me. Example? How about this guest comic I did for Jason at Game-Rave? Why would I shed my asshole image and do something nice? Cause Jason's a great guy and I wanted to help. That comic was created differently than 99% of all the comics on this site; I drew it on paper then I scanned it and colored it, rather than drawing it on paper than digitally inking it then coloring it. What do you think? Did it work? Let me know. I'll read anything any of you send me.

Since I'm linking webcomics, how about we all give a nice "Welcome back" to Aikida! It seems Fenris has decided to go back to the ol' gal. On one hand, I think it's great. But on the other hand, I'm kinda bummed, cause I really liked seeing Pepperwood develop. I wanted to see that story play out. At any rate, make sure you read Aikida now, if you haven't ever before. Fenris is a great writer, and regardless of what he says repeatedly, he's quite an artist as well.

You must admit that the folks at Pixar reach levels so high they can look down on "genius." It looks like the streak is going to continue, judging by the new trailer for The Incredibles. If you live in my area, count on seeing me in the theater at least once to see this. It looks great, make sure you check out that trailer. My main concern is that it goes beyond the "Person gets lost; everyone else gangs up to find the lost person; both the lost person and the search party make new friends in the course of their search; the group is reunited and everyone is happy again" groove they fall into. Nevertheless, I have gotta see this movie.

Now, I know most people don't like Keanu Reeves because he's Keanu Reeves. I'm fine with that. Personally, I'm abilavent (as our "president" would say) on the subject of one Keanu. That being said, the teaser for Constantine has been released. I'm just making sure you know, cause this is a comic book movie, based on one mighty fine book called "Hellblazer." I think some people will skip it based on the Keanu factor, but if the movie is half as good as the comic is, it should be a really interesting movie.

Holy hell is this ever a good deal. If you don't read Ultimate Spider-Man, you really should be. It's bar none one of the best books being produced today (The current "Hollywood" arc notwithstanding.) And almost one thousand pages of USM for under 40 bucks? Man, I own every single issue of this series, but I'm thinking about picking up this collection based on knowing how good it'll look on my shelf.

Based on the success of GTA3 and GTAVC, it should come as no surprise that open ended, do anything you want games are popular at present. And seeing as how much ass superhero movies are kicking at the box office lately, it's no surprise that game makers want to capitalize on that. The point I'm trying to get to from that hamhanded intro is that the trailer for the Spider-Man 2 game is up. Looks pretty damn cool. It's about time someone made a superhero game like this. I just wish Tobey Maguire wasn't doing the voice for the game. Based on the first one, he's an awful Spidey Voice over...er. It sounded like he was half asleep while delivering his lines. Base it on the movie, but have Rino Romano do the voice. That's what I'd do if I made the game. But what do I know, I'm only the target demographic.

Okay. This link isn't based toward anyone in particular that I know, but I feel it is vital reading for everyone. Thank you.

This might be of interest to anyone who is a Metroid fan; ie anyone who isn't a retard. I mean really, how can you NOT just love that series? I'm worried about the fact they're making a movie of it. Who the hell is Samus going to talk to? They can't make a movie with some chick in a yellow suit run around a planet and blasting plants and shit while talking to no one for two hours. Should be...interesting. ANYWAY, check out that game. It's a different twist on a classic, classic game.

I'm kind of interested in the game Red Dead Revolver. Anyone play it? Let me know what's up. Back in seven.
